Chiefs fans prepare for the super bowl

  As everyone knows this is the fourth Super Bowl appearance for the Chiefs making all fans ready for the big day. Lots of fans prepare the full two-week anticipation with gear, food, and watch party planning. In 1970, and 2020 the Chiefs brought home the Lombardi trophy. Everyone is excited to bring it home once again!

   Everyone is excited to have a fun Sunday evening, hoping to bring home a win to KC. Leza Palguta, English teacher here at Lee’s Summit North shares some fun things her and her family like to do to prepare for the big game. 

   “We will typically invite the family over, eat dinner together, and watch the game together. We are inviting some friends and our sons over, making hors d’oeuvres and snacks, and watching the game. We will yell at the TV together and generally have a very loud and awesome time,” Palguta said. 

   As this game holds the number one seed in the AFC, and the number one seed in the NFC, this makes for a close game and many predictions on both sides.

   “I will be honest, I’m a little worried.  Mahomes is my guy, but he is battling that ankle sprain, and our guys are looking pretty banged up. That said, I think the Chiefs are stellar players and definitely have the talent and ability to bring this W home,” Palguta said. 

   This will definitely be a game you won’t want to miss. Make sure you cheer our Chiefs on this year in Super Bowl LVII!!!
