On April 14th in the commons, the LSN community will have the opportunity to participate in Trivia Night, held by National Honor Society. The event has a large expected turnout with the hopes of raising money for the school.

“It is a Trivia Night that teams can sign up for. Each table is 100 dollars with a maximum of 8 people. There are prizes and a silent auction as well. Our goal was 20 tables, and as of now we have 17 tables signed up, so we are getting close to reaching our goal,” Chris Gerding, science teacher said.

The Trivia Night is being held by National Honor Society, intending to raise money for the school and the donation organizations. The earnings of the event will go towards projects and expenses in the school and community.

“The purpose of the Trivia Night is to raise money for the scholarships and beautify things on campus, like plants and trees. From time to time we also donate to community organizations, whether it’s Coldwater or Lee’s Summit Social Services,” Gerding said.

The trivia event will end with a prize to the winning team at the end of the night. The prizes range from many different things to award the winning team.

“There will be prizes for most likely the top 2 teams, potentially being gift cards and also a cash prize as well,” Gerding said.

The Trivia Night event is a way for LSN to come together and raise money for the school and community. The event will have food for the players, an online silent auction, and fun for students and families to join together.
