The Lee’s Summit North Steppers have put together a show that will amaze the audience yet again. This time with special guests joining the floor. Kids ranging from kindergarten to 7th grade performed on October 10th at LSN.
“The excitement on their faces and how some of them already have a countdown until performance time is amazing,” Nicole Tigner, coach, said.
The mini steppers have been practicing from 6-8 pm through October 2nd-5th. The current Step Captions are teaching and will be performing the choreography with the mini steppers on October 10th. Aryn Bagby and Gabrielle James, seniors, have been on the step team for four years, and are two of the captains who helped put the routine together.
“My favorite part about the event is getting to know the kids and learning each level of children´s ability,” Bagby said.
The LSN steppers have been known to blow the audience away and this event is just one of many the team will make an appearance at. One of the many performances the Northside Steppers will be performing is an opening act for the Zombie Prom on November 4th and 11th.
“We will be hosting our annual step show on February 23rd,” Tigner said.
As the year goes by and competitions and performances approach, the team and students are excited to see what’s in store for the rest of the year.
