Chiefs season review

Sports Review by Robert Hurst – Staff Reporter

This season for the Kansas City Chiefs was one to remember. With everything in the world being different, the Chiefs still showed up strong every game in the 2020 season. Their offense was off the charts this season, and their defense played exceptional in big moments. The team won multiple nail-biting endings to games and entertained its fans to the fullest. Mick Cronk, social studies teacher, is also a huge Chiefs fan.

“This season was one of the best and strongest teams they’ve ever had. Pure entertainment watching this team, “ Cronk said.

Cronk believes the 14-2 regular-season record is evidence Kansas City will be rewarded with another Super Bowl victory.

“The way Patrick Mahomes and the offense have played this season, it’s difficult to not see us lifting the Lombardi trophy again, I’m excited for these playoffs,” he said.

Patrick Mahomes has had yet another possible MVP season. He was efficient and intelligent with every play, becoming a more mature quarterback in his 4th season in the NFL. He finished with 4,740 passing yards, 38 total touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. MVP definitely is in the question. The Chiefs played and beat the Cleveland Browns on 1/17 in the AFC divisional championship. They now move on to the AFC Championship to play the Buffalo Bills on 1/24.
