2023 Homecoming Royalty Crowned

On Friday, September 29, the Homecoming King and Queen were crowned at halftime during the football game. Lily Winkle, Homecoming Queen was surprised and overjoyed when she heard her name during the crowning. 

“I was very surprised and I didn’t expect it very much, but I was overall just so excited,” Winkle, senior, said. 

Being on royalty and getting to be a part of the whole experience was a highlight of winning for Cooper Spacil, Homecoming King.

“Working to organize parade things, and the dance was all just really fun and exciting. I couldn’t have been happier to have experienced it,” Spacil, senior, said. 

Both Spacil and Winkle both enjoyed the experience and the process of being on royalty, ending with the surprise of getting crowned King and Queen on Friday.
