Thanksgiving break is one of the most exciting times of the year. It is the first long break of the year. Many students choose to either celebrate by going out of town or staying in town.
“I have family coming over from St. Louis to celebrate with us,” Jia Patel, junior, said.
Thanksgiving is known for its food and being able to celebrate with the people you love and are thankful for. Many of the thanksgiving meals are loaded with choices like turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and even more options. Not only that, you get to end with many different dessert options.
“My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the food,” Patel said
Students are excited for break because that means they get time off from school. Most students are hoping to be able to not have school work to do over the break so they can relax, get rest and spend time with loved ones
“I hope I don’t have homework over break so I will be able to spend time with my family,” Patel said.
Not only are the students happy for break, but teachers and other staff are too.
