Swinging Into The Baseball Season

  LSN baseball is ready to dominate the season; conditioning has started and the team is gearing up for a winning start. 

   “Conditioning has been a bit rocky with the weather/snow days. When we have been able to get our workouts in, we have some guys really working to get better. The Spring Season is a “sprint” so putting in the key work prior to the season is absolutely essential. There is just not time to “get up to speed” after the season starts.  We have to be ready to go on day one,” Michael Westacott, baseball coach, said. 

   The Broncos are dedicated and pushing themselves to be the best. They have been training hard and are ready to take on any challenge. 

   “I expect that we will compete. We play one of the toughest schedules in the state of Missouri.  We love the challenge, and we plan to play our best baseball when we hit the postseason in May,” Westacott said. 

   The baseball season starts on February 26, the first Bronco varsity game is March 15. Fans are encouraged to come and support and help give the Broncos a rocket start.
